After a short illness borne with stoic resignation and surrounded by his loving family, J. Stewart Spence MBE passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Proud father of Greg, Craig, Ross and the late Jackie, doting grandfather of eight and devoted partner to Maureen. Much respected hotelier and humble philanthropist, he will be hugely missed by all fortunate enough to have known him. Private family funeral. Memorial service to be held at Queen’s Cross Church, Aberdeen on Wednesday, February 19 at 11.00am. Thereafter to his beloved Marcliffe. All friends respectfully invited.
