Our History and Values...

A local, family run business, Brian Smith Funeral Services was established in September, 1992 in Peterculter, with help from Brian's father and father-in-law, later expanding with premises in Banchory and Aboyne.

With the help of his wife, Angela, the services have steadily grown over the years and the business is proud to have maintained a great reputation, delivering the highest of standards, with help from our experienced and dedicated staff.

Brian and Angela built up a personal, supportive, and comforting environment for all, and these attributes have remained cornerstones of Brian Smith Funeral Services over the years. Following their retirement in 2019, their son, Sam, and daughter, Shauni, have continued to run the business, assisting the bereaved and continuing to provide the same utmost care and compassion that has been shown over the years.

Our whole team stands by our values, these include to always be caring, respectful and supportive. From the first point of contact, everything will be carried out with the utmost care and respect. We promise to always be supportive of your wishes. No request is too great, and no detail is too small.
