Evelyn, Julie and Debbie would like to thank all family and friends for the sympathy extended to them by way of cards, flowers, messages, visits and food parcels following the sudden and sad loss of Doug. Grateful thanks to the paramedics for their outstanding care and attention. Our thanks to Celebrant Karen Farquhar for her kind words and excellent eulogy which captured Doug so well. Special thanks to Shaun and colleagues at Brian Smith Funeral Services for taking such good care of Doug and to the Palm Court Hotel for the teas. Finally, thank you to all who came to pay their final respects to Doug and who generously donated £1217 to the Scottish Police Benevolent Fund.
