John’s family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their cards and messages of condolence on his passing. Special thanks goes to all medical and health staff of Aboyne Health Centre and hospital, ambulance services, and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, to the comprehensive network of services and support given under Aberdeenshire Care Partnership SDS funding, and all carers employed in Johns final years, to Sean and Andrew at Brian Smith Funeral Services for the handling of arrangements, to Kathleen MacIntosh for sensitively presenting the eulogy and conducting the service, to all staff at Baldarroch Crematorium for their help and to The Milton Brasserie for the refreshments. Finally, thank you to all who kindly donated to The Forget-Me-Not Club, Banchory, both at the service and online, a total of £350 was raised.
